About our guesthouse
Penzión u Sysľa is located right in the centre of the village of Muráň, in the heart of Muránska planina National Park. Its location makes it a great base for hiking in Muránska planina and for trips around the area (show on map). In our stylish restaurant we serve tasty home-cooked meals and local specialities, as well as excellent pizza. We have nine modern, cosy rooms for our guests, each with a large comfortable bed, private bathroom, smart TV and air conditioning with heating. The apartments also have a kitchenette. Wellness
Relax in our private wellness area, where you will find perfect harmony of relaxation and nature. The wellness offers an infrared sauna, a Finnish sauna and a hot tub with magnesium-rich salt water, complemented by a comfortable relaxation zone with a beautiful view of Muráň Castle.

Sysľovisko and Obrovisko
Right next to Sysľovisko in Muránska planina you will find the new family park Obrovisko, with the wooden giant Bojan and plenty of attractions. Sysľovisko is known as a unique place to watch ground squirrels in their natural habitat, while Obrovisko offers a fairy-tale educational trail, a petting zoo, a tubing track and other fun features for children and adults. What to do in the area
The area around Penzión u Sysľa offers many ways to relax actively and explore. You will find Muránska planina National Park, the majestic Muráň Castle, Veľká lúka meadow, the picturesque Hrdzavá dolina valley, a viewpoint above Muráň and a natural playground just 100 metres from the guesthouse. Cultural and entertainment venues are close by too, such as the Litterra museum, the Museum of the First Slovak Grammar School, the MSKS cinema and the interactive game Hviezdojed in Revúca.
